Beginning Band

The Wildcat Beginning Band is composed of about 30-40 students, primarily in the 6th grade. This is the entry level group, where students gain foundational skills in music theory and performance, and prepare for transition to the concert, symphonic, or jazz bands. The Beginning Band performs at least 2-3 times a year at the Winter and Spring Concerts and at Miami-Dade County middle school band events.
